PROINVERSIÓN awards four electric projects benefiting Arequipa, Lima, Apurímac, and Puno
The Private Investment Promotion Agency – PROINVERSIÓN, attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, successfully held the Third Business Round on Projects in Assets – PROINVEST 2025, an event that brought together more than 70 national and international investors interested in transforming public properties into modern infrastructure under the Projects in Assets (PA) scheme.
The Executive Director of PROINVERSIÓN, Tabata Vivanco del Castillo, reaffirmed the commitment of the Private Investment Promotion Agency – PROINVERSIÓN as a strategic partner of both domestic and foreign private sectors, as well as of different levels of government, to promote private investment and thereby close the country’s gaps.
The Chincha Wastewater Treatment Plant (Chincha WWTP) project, structured and awarded by PROINVERSIÓN in January 2025, has been recognized as a finalist at the GRI Awards Infrastructure Andean 2025, the leading award for sustainable infrastructure in the Andean region.
PROINVERSIÓN ’s Executive Director, Tabata Vivanco del Castillo, reported that the portfolio of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects presented by the Agency at the 18th Europe Roadshow 2025 has generated strong interest among investors, particularly in hospital, sanitation, school, and transportation projects — all with high social impact for the population.
As part of its decentralized work strategy, the Executive Director of the Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN), Tabata Vivanco del Castillo, held a series of meetings with regional and local authorities of Tacna with the aim of joining efforts and promoting investment projects through the mechanisms of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), Projects in Assets, and Works for Taxes (OxI).
The Private Investment Promotion Agency – PROINVERSIÓN announced that Arca Continental Lindley S.A. will finance the project “Improvement and Expansion of the Potable Water and Sewerage Systems of the Pucusana Scheme, Pucusana District (Lima),” under the Works for Taxes (OxI) mechanism.
