PROINVERSIÓN PROMOTES PPP PORTFOLIO IN SANITATION FOR MORE THAN US$ 2.2 BILLION
The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) and PROINVERSIÓN signed the inter-institutional cooperation agreement to develop studies and promote the definitive and sustainable operation of the National Optical Fiber Backbone Network (RDNFO).
The development of the “New San Juan de Marcona Port Terminal” project would reactivate investments of more than US$ 15 billion in the south of the country and will impact economic growth, employment generation, improved income and the quality of life of the population in the area of influence.
Three companies submitted their credentials (Envelope No. 1) to compete as “qualified stakeholders” in the Huancayo-Huancavelica Railway modernization project, which requires an estimated investment of US$ 394 million.
The 22 projects assigned to PROINVERSIÓN were prioritized in the Multiannual Report on Investments in Public-Private Partnerships (IMIAPP) 2024 – 2026 of the MTC. In total, it will require more than US$ 3.5 billion (total investment cost/ total project cost) to benefit from more efficient connectivity to 15 regions of the country.
PROINVERSIÓN announces that 8 bidders, including national and international companies and consortiums, have submitted their documents (Envelope No. 1) to be declared as “pre-qualified bidders” in the tender for the comprehensive project Longitudinal de la Sierra Highway Section 4 concession.
