The ODCC Phase 1 project is a self-financed state initiative aimed at increasing the availability of drinking water in highland areas of eastern and southern Lima, benefiting more than 1.52 million people. It includes the design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Huachipa II Plant (5 m³/s in two stages), the 26-km Southern Branch to Manchay, five compensation reservoirs, and 66 km of interconnection lines, in addition to the operation of the Huachipa Intake and the Huachipa I Plant (5 m³/s). With a 30-year contract and an estimated investment of USD 485 million (excluding VAT), it represents a structural, sustainable, and high-impact solution for the urban and social development of Lima.
