Government awards concession for the Longitudinal of the Sierra Highway Section 4, which will benefit five regions
The Peruvian State signed today the concession contract for the Wastewater Treatment Project for final disposal or reuse in the City of Chincha (Chincha WWTP), which will improve the health, environment, and quality of life of 345,000 people across seven districts in the Ica region.
The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) and Petroperú S.A. signed a commission agreement to develop the diagnosis, design, and execution of the promotion processes for the sale, disposal, and/or other management modalities of the list of assets of the state-owned oil company, within the framework of Emergency Decree No. 013-2024.
So far in 2025, two (2) investments for S/ 21 million were awarded in Junín, destined to strengthen citizen security in the district of Pangoa and to replace ambulances.
The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) announced the upcoming call for Comprehensive Project Tenders to grant concessions for four (4) electricity projects included in the 2025–2034 Transmission Plan, representing a total investment of US$ 232 million, which will benefit approximately 1.6 million people across the country.
Public entities in the Cusco region have a portfolio of 105 projects involving an investment of S/ 1.284 billion, to be executed through the Works for Taxes (OxI) mechanism, according to information provided by the Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN).
As part of PROINVERSIÓN’s decentralized portfolio, three hospital projects are being promoted that will benefit over 1 million residents of Loreto, whose main demand is timely access to quality healthcare services. For this reason, an important agreement was signed with the Regional Government of Loreto to carry out, through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), the operation and maintenance of the “Santa Gema Hospital,” “César Garayar García Hospital,” and the “Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias Regional Hospital.”
