PROINVERSIÓN AND MVCS DECLARE OF INTEREST, THE EXECUTION AND CONCESSION OF THE CAJAMARCA WWTP

This project will ensure the availability and continuous access to drinking water for more than 1.2 million Lima residents who do not have service or have discontinuous service, through the execution of drinking water treatment, conduction and storage works for delivery to SEDAPAL and subsequent distribution to the population.

One of the main demands of the citizens is to have access to an effective medical care service at the time they need it, which is why PROINVERSIÓN, in coordination with the regional governments, has been supporting hospital projects not only in the capital city but also in the interior of the country.
The project consists of the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of 965.2 km of highway. The investment consists of three types of intervention: 5.20 km of construction of the new San Clemente Evitamiento highway; 179.3 km of Rehabilitation and Improvement of the existing Huancayo-Izcuchaca and Izcuchaca-Mayocc subsections; and 780.7 km of initial periodic maintenance of the existing subsections Mayocc-Ayacucho-Andahuaylas-Sahuinto Bridge and Ayacucho-Huaytará-Div.Pisco.

At the agreement signing ceremony, which was attended by the head of PROINVERSIÓN, Luis Del Carpio; the district mayor of Caraybamba, Jhon Anchayhua Segoviau and the director of Decentralized Investments, Denisse Miralles, the importance of the OxI mechanism to accelerate the closing of gaps in the town of Apurimac was highlighted.
The modernization of port infrastructure and services through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) has been key to the growth of Peruvian exports in the last two decades. This was stated by the executive director of PROINVERSIÓN, Luis Del Carpio, during his participation in the APPA LATAM 2025, the most important port event in Latin America, which is being held in Lima from June 24 to 27.

In the presence of regional and local authorities, social leaders and representatives of the private sector, the Peruvian Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN), the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), socialized the technical, financial and legal aspects of the Choquequirao Cable Car, which will be executed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) modality to strengthen tourism to this archaeological monument, for the benefit of the regions of Cusco and Apurimac.
