Lima, July 7th and 8th, 2014.- The IV Meeting of the Initiative for Investment inLatin America from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), «Reducing Gaps through Intelligent Infrastructure Investments» was successfully realized.
During the six sessions, held on July 7 and 8, important issues related to investment in transport infrastructure, energy and investment facilitation in the region through Public Private Partnerships were addressed.
Among the exhibitors were the Minister of Economy and Finance, Miguel Castilla Rubio; Transport Minister Colombia, Cecilia Alvarez-Correa Glen; the Deputy Director of Financial and Enterprise Affairs at the OECD Sangkyom Kim; and IDB Representative in Peru, Fidel Jaramillo. The Meeting was opened and adjourned by the President of the Council of Ministers.
The event was organized by Proinversion and OECD, with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Finances and the auspices of the IDB and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID).
